Und so (finger-)pickt sich Melrose mit Witz durch Mancini’s “Pink Panther“, kommt auch brillant mit dem 5/4 Takt von Brubecks “Take five“ zurecht, hat bei “Summertime“ den (Folk-)Blues und demonstriert mit Titeln wie “Carousel“ oder “Guitar Village“ seine ausgefuchste technische Klasse. Ein schönes und rundum gelungenes Album.“
